Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how Rank Crown, operated by Creativism Digital Agency, will issue refunds for subscription payments processed via Xendit. We aim to be fair and transparent. If you have any concerns about a charge, please contact us before initiating a dispute with your bank.

1. Free Trial

Rank Crown offers a free trial period for eligible paid plans. During the trial:

  • No charge is made to your payment method during the trial period.
  • You may cancel at any time before the trial ends with no obligation.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the selected paid plan and your payment method will be charged.

The free trial is available once per person. Creating multiple accounts to exploit repeated trials is a violation of our Terms of Service.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at support@rankcrown.com.

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active and fully functional until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged at the next renewal date.
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan with its associated limits.
  • Your data (projects, tracked keywords, saved reports) is retained for 30 days after downgrade, after which it may be deleted.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started. However, we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:

  • Accidental renewal — you were charged because you forgot to cancel before renewal. Requests made within 48 hours of the renewal charge will be considered for a full refund, provided you have not made significant use of the Service in that period.
  • Service unavailability — the platform experienced significant unplanned downtime (>24 consecutive hours) during your billing period. In such cases we may issue a pro-rated credit or refund at our discretion.
  • Billing error — you were charged an incorrect amount due to a platform error. We will issue a full refund of the overcharged amount.

3.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund if you cancel within the first 30 days of the subscription period. The refund amount is calculated as:

Refund = Annual Price × (Remaining Full Months / 12)

Example: If you cancel after 2 months on a $348/year plan, you receive a refund for the remaining 10 months: $348 × (10/12) = $290.

After the 30-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may still cancel to prevent future renewal charges.

3.3 Non-Refundable Items

  • One-time add-on purchases or credit top-ups (if applicable)
  • Subscription fees for periods already elapsed (beyond the pro-rated window)
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to Terms of Service violations
  • Unused API credits or report quota within a billing period

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • The email address associated with your Rank Crown account
  • The date and amount of the charge you are disputing
  • A brief explanation of your refund reason

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Xendit to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Before raising a chargeback

We strongly encourage you to contact us at billing@rankcrown.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are costly and time-consuming for both parties. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve your concern directly.

5. Enterprise Plans

Enterprise plans are governed by separate agreements negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Refund terms for Enterprise customers are defined in the applicable order form or service agreement. If no separate agreement exists, this Refund Policy applies.

6. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
